Rebel Rock Racing / Circuit of the Americas ( Grand Am )

Press Release:

Circuit of the Americas

Qualifying

After two days of testing at the inaugural GRAND-AM of The Americas presented by GAINSCO and TOTAL, the rebel rock racing team believes that we have a very well balanced car for Saturday’s race. We ran into some short coming’s during qualifying that put us towards the back of the pack but our crew as well as our drivers feel as if we can make up a lot of ground early in the race. Stay tuned for more updates and thank you all for the continued support

Race

We would like to thank all the Rebel Rock Racing fans for their support during the inaugural Circuit of the Americas race. Despite qualifying in the 24th position we were able to work our way up to 7th place. After some avoidable contact from another team driver D.J. Randall was spun out and lost a number of positions (falling back to 16th). After hard work from our drivers and team Rebel Rock Racing was able to squeeze into the number 11 position finishing on the lead lap. We look forward to our next race at Barber Motorsports Park and anticipate a top 10 finish. Special thanks goes out to Ingersoll Rand,  Oakley,  Porsche of New Orleans,  Onnit Labs . See you on the grid!
